A rigorous quality control architecture
Because custom sheet metal work involves multi-stage forming, Spike applies strict, documented quality assurance policies at every workstation to eliminate non-conformity:
Every project begins with a careful drawing assessment by our engineering supervisor, to confirm the specification matches production standards.
We check incoming raw material continuously. Mill test certificates confirming metal grade, sheet thickness and supplier standards are inspected before production begins.
Using calibrated equipment, our QC technicians monitor every fabrication stage. Checks cover angular accuracy, flatness and distortion control, hole and edge spacing, and complete removal of dross and burrs.
All welding parameters follow a structured Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and are carried out only by qualified welders.
Completed assemblies are systematically labelled, itemised and securely palletised. This careful handling protects finished surfaces from damage in transit.
