Advanced protection against corrosion and wear
Electrostatic powder coating produces an engineered, highly resistant protective layer that shields metal surfaces from impact, scratching, corrosion and chemical exposure. Alongside superior structural durability, it delivers an even, uninterrupted finish. Spike supplies professional powder coating across a wide range of sectors, including architectural metalwork, street furniture, structural enclosures, automotive components and HVAC equipment. Because the process contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), it is environmentally sound.
The three-stage coating process
Removing oils, grease, rust, mill scale and weld spatter is the most critical step for powder adhesion. Using purpose-selected chemical cleaners and mechanical cleaning, we guarantee a chemically clean substrate.
Dry polymer resin and pigment particles are electrostatically charged by dedicated spray guns. Carried on a gentle air stream, they adhere to the grounded metal part and build a continuous film 50 to 120 microns thick.
Coated parts enter industrial ovens under tightly controlled temperature, typically 180–200 °C. The powder melts, flows out, and cross-links chemically into a hard, continuous polymer shell.
